Meghan Markle was a fan of Dicey’s and Krystle’s when she visited our shores before she became a Duchess.

Patrick J Adams, her on-screen husband, has confessed that he had a night out in Coppers while on vacation in Ireland.

Yes, the Suits star joked that he is ‘still recovering’ from his night out at Dublin’s renowned Copper Faced Jacks, while Twitter reminisced about their best nights out at Copper Faced Jacks.

One gentleman wrote, ‘I remember Bringing @halfadams here after a UCD event, and seeing his eyes was priceless! The first thing he said after his UCD talk “Can we go to Coppers”.’

The actor immediately responded, ‘I’m still recovering from my night there.’

We feel ya, Patrick!

A thread shared the importance of Coppers as a place in Irish culture, with the creator, who was a patron of the club for a decade, stating, ‘Coppers is an important space for people from all over the country. It may not be cool, or interesting, or be a space for new music or local DJs, but god – it’s fun.’

Go any night of the week. ANY night – you’ll meet people who just went out for one drink after work, met up with an old friend for dinner, and somehow ended up in coppers, some in a club for the first time in years – the “what the f**k am I doing here” energy is great craic,’ she enthused.

‘Anyways I’m biased I wouldn’t be married to my husband or have my son without Coppers,’ she added.

Pictures of people queuing to get into Coppers went viral over the weekend, with many people arriving as early as 9 p.m. to get through the golden gates, or should we say copper gates.

Well, as the iconic saying goes, ‘See yiz in Coppers!’
