A royal expert has rejected ongoing speculation about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s marriage, insisting that the couple remains deeply in love and committed to each other. Speaking to OK!, royal commentator Jennie Bond dismissed the rumors, stating, “I have seen absolutely no evidence that they are unhappy with one another. Indeed, they have always seemed very much in love and in harmony.”
Bond’s remarks come just days after Prince Harry and Meghan made a joint appearance at the Invictus Games inaugural events in Canada. The couple’s affectionate and united front at the event has been interpreted as a direct contradiction to claims of marital strife.

“At the Invictus Games, I saw a couple very much united in celebrating a hugely worthwhile achievement,” Bond stated. “The many stories we heard, and which Harry and Meghan listened to, proved that the Games have made a massive difference to servicemen and women injured or scarred by their military experiences.” She added, “I saw a wife who was justifiably proud of what her husband had helped create.

And I saw a husband who was hugely grateful for his partner’s support.” Despite persistent media speculation about their relationship, the couple’s recent public appearances suggest otherwise. They were seen smiling, engaging with attendees, and supporting each other throughout the Invictus Games event, an initiative close to Prince Harry’s heart.
Bond also pointed out the apparent double standard in how Prince Harry and Meghan are scrutinized compared to other royal couples. “We never question the marriage status of Edward and Sophie, or Anne and Tim, or indeed Charles and Camilla when they pursue their different engagements and focus on separate interests. So why do we do it with Harry and Meghan?” she questioned.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been subjected to intense media scrutiny since stepping down from royal duties in 2020. Despite the rumors, they continue to present a strong and supportive partnership, particularly in their shared charitable and advocacy work. For now, Bond’s insights reinforce what the couple’s public appearances suggest: that they remain united and focused on their causes, undeterred by speculation about their marriage.
