Mary Trump Criticizes Uncle Donald’s Election Strategy, Accuses Him of Pre-Rigging 2024
Mary Trump, the outspoken niece of Donald Trump, has long been one of her uncle’s fiercest critics. On Sunday, she once again voiced her concerns, claiming that Donald Trump’s ongoing lies about electoral fraud in 2020 offer clear insight into his plans for the 2024 election.
In a scathing blog post, she accused him of cheating throughout his life, aided by the complicity of the mainstream media. As reported by Raw Story, Mary wrote, “Donald spent the weekend, as he often does, lying to the American people and ranting about all of the ways in which the debate was rigged against him—from the moderators giving Kamala Harris the questions ahead of time to her having a microphone hidden in her ears through which other people were telling her what to say.”
She continued, “It’s always projection with my uncle, and that is never more true than when he’s in the process of trying to pre-rig an upcoming election.” Mary Trump warned that Donald’s public statements are clear signals of his intent for 2024, but she cautioned against relying on corporate media to call out these tactics.
“This election is too important for us to rely on outlets that continue, against all evidence to the contrary, to normalize a deeply unwell traitor just so they can preserve the horse race of it all,” she stated. She further claimed that Donald Trump isn’t truly focused on winning the election fairly. Instead, she believes his goal is to keep the race close enough to exploit loopholes.
“He knows that he just needs to keep it close enough so he can cheat by having his friends in the House of Representatives and the Supreme Court throw the election to him,” she alleged. As reported by HuffPost, Mary urged action to prevent such a scenario, hoping for a significant GOP defeat to force the party to reconsider its course.
She also criticized Donald Trump for refusing to participate in a second presidential debate, stating, “Winners do not show up in the spin room and winners do not turn down an opportunity to win again.” Mocking Trump’s debate performance against Harris.
Mary said, “He knows that he will lose the next one, and the only move that would strike him to debate again would be desperation.” While Donald Trump’s campaign insisted that he had “dominated” Harris in the debate, Mary argued that Trump’s post-debate behavior revealed his awareness of a poor performance.
