A strange and unexpected claim about former President Donald Trump recently made waves on social media, alleging that he was once kicked out of a high-end New York steakhouse due to a strong, unpleasant smell. The story dates back to 1983 and originated from a TikTok user, @bestofajack04, who shared the bizarre anecdote in a now-deleted clip. The TikToker claimed he was dining with his father at Keens Steakhouse in Manhattan when Trump was asked to leave due to complaints about his odor.

“Years ago, I posted about Trump being kicked out of Keens Steakhouse in Manhattan, where I was eating with my father in 1983 because his smell was so offensive. This wasn’t an elderly thing—it was 1983. I wouldn’t make fun of Trump today if it was an elderly thing. That’s not what we do on the left. It happens to elderly people. Trump wasn’t elderly,” the TikToker shared, as reported by Ok! Magazine.

According to the TikToker, while he and his father didn’t complain, other nearby tables voiced their displeasure, leading to Trump’s quiet departure. “We smelled it, but my father and I didn’t complain. The table next to him complained, and the table behind him complained… The smell was so f—— offensive that they finally had to ask him to leave, and he did leave quietly, right by us, and then wafted us,” he claimed. The user further speculated that Trump’s odor issues might have been ongoing, saying, “Trump’s been s——- all over himself for almost 30 f——- years.”

Other users soon chimed in with their own alleged experiences with Trump’s odor. One person claimed they worked on a project for Trump in 2017, stating, “10/10 can confirm the stink. Also, he never paid our company the 350k invoice for products and services.” Another user commented, “I heard this in the ’90s from my neighbor who worked for him.”

The conversation even caught the attention of comedian Kathy Griffin, who shared her own experience from when she briefly worked with Trump on his reality show The Apprentice. Griffin claimed Trump had a “distinct smell” that she described as “like body odor with scented makeup products”, as per The Meidias News

Former Republican congressman Adam Kinzinger also weighed in on the topic during an interview, stating, “I’m genuinely surprised how people close to Trump haven’t talked about the odor. It’s truly something to behold. Wear a mask if you can.”

The allegations have sparked rampant speculation online. Some users have suggested the odor could be due to a medical condition, while others have attributed it to personal hygiene or dietary issues. However, without concrete evidence, the claims remain speculative at best.

Not everyone believes the stories. Some Trump supporters have dismissed the allegations as just another attempt to smear the former president’s reputation. Interestingly, Trump’s team hasn’t directly addressed the odor accusations but instead responded with a humorous jab, accusing Kinzinger of once farting on television—an unsubstantiated claim.

Noel Casler, who worked on The Apprentice, has also long claimed that Trump had odor issues during his time on the show, alleging that incontinence was a frequent problem for the former president. Whether true or not, this strange story about Trump’s alleged odor problems has certainly captured the internet’s attention, adding yet another odd twist to the former president’s ongoing public saga.
