Barron Trump Back to College Grind After Playing Key Role in Father’s Victory
Barron Trump is back to student life after a whirlwind few days in Washington, D.C., celebrating his father’s inauguration as the 47th President of the United States. The 18-year-old was spotted on Tuesday, dressed casually in a cream sweater layered over a white polo with black slacks, hitting the books with Secret Service agents close by.
Barron, a first-year student at New York University’s Stern School of Business, returned to campus life after playing an unexpected role in his father’s successful presidential campaign. According to Donald Trump, his youngest son had a sharp eye for the youth vote and helped strategize ways to engage younger voters.
During the inaugural parade at Capital One Arena, Trump acknowledged Barron’s contributions, saying, “He knew the youth vote. You know, we won the youth vote by 36 points… He said, ‘Dad, you got to go out, do Joe Rogan, do all these guys.’”
Barron, who turned 18 in March 2024, also made headlines for another reason—this was the first presidential election in which he was eligible to vote. His mother, First Lady Melania Trump, proudly shared a photo of him casting his ballot on Election Day, marking a milestone moment for the youngest Trump.
NYU, where Barron is currently studying business, is one of the largest private universities in the country, with an enrollment of nearly 62,000 students, including about 30,000 undergraduates, according to the school’s website. While he keeps a relatively low profile compared to his older siblings, Barron’s presence in his father’s political sphere is beginning to turn heads.
For now, though, the youngest Trump is back to focusing on his studies, balancing life as a college freshman while being the son of the most powerful man in the country.
