World’s Most Expensive Motorcycle: Turkish Designer Breaks Guinness World Record
Tarhan Telli, a Turkish motorcycle designer, has spent more than a year to manufacture a golden motorcycle which is 315 kilograms in weight, by volume of engine 1801 cc, and has 125 horsepower, setting the new world record for the Most expensive motorcycle, according to the World Record Academy:
The Guinness world record for the Most expensive motorcycle in production was set by The MTT Turbine Superbike, which is powered by a Rolls Royce Allison gas turbine engine, cost $185,000 (£101,000) in 2004. Guinness World Records also recognized the world record for the most people on one moving motorcycle: 54, achieved by the Army Service Corps Motorcycle Display Team ‘Tornadoes’ (all India) at Air Force Station Yelahanka, Bangalore, India.
The world’s most expensve motorcyle is 315 kilograms in weight, by volume of engine 1801 cc, and has 125 horsepower. Chassis and body shell of the motorcyle, which has 6 forward gearboxes, are made of white and yellow gold lieves. The relief of mythological hero Medusa is placed on its fuel tank, while there are snake figures on its chassis and fender.
