Whiskey Sour
The drink for this weekend is simple. Usually we try to post recipes that take a little bit of doing but one of the staff had a birthday and the order of the day was the tried and true Whiskey Sour. The popular cocktail drink is easy to make, tasty and very effective. First you should choose your favorite whiskey, bourbon, or scotch. We suggest:
Ingredients:
- 1 ½ ounces of Maker’s Mark.
- 4 ounces of premade sour mix or mix 1 oz. lemon juice, 1 oz. sugar & 2 oz. of water thoroughly.
- 1 maraschino cherry
Method:
For one Whiskey sour, combine the whiskey, sour mix and ice together in an old fashioned glass then stir. Be sure not to put this in a shaker unless you want a frothy mess. Garnish with a cherry or two and even spoon some of the cherry juice into your glass and its done. Stir, sip and enjoy. – stupiddope
