Jean Paul Gaultier In Russia
French Fashion Designer Jean Paul Gaultier had his dream come true when he unveiled his latest collection in one of Moscow’s oldest train station. Kazansky railway station was used as the backdrop for his fashion collection.
Kazansky railway station was constructed in 1913-1940. Gaultier opened his first boutique in Moscow in 2005. Mentioning about the progress of Russia he said that “This shows how much Russia is changing…Russia is open to the world”.
The show lasted 30 minutess and it was heavily attended by Russian pop stars, actors as well as fashion designers and editors of fashion magazines.
