‘Skyfall’ star Daniel Craig was so impressed with Adele’s theme song for the movie that he sent her a package of gifts for her five-week-old son. Daniel Craig sent Adele a package of baby gifts. The ‘Skyfall’ actor was so thrilled that the 24-year-old singer agreed to sing the theme song for the new James Bond movie that he put together some limited edition memorabilia from the film for her five-week old son.
A source told the Daily Star newspaper: ”Adele received some beautiful ‘Skyfall’ gifts from Daniel. ”They included an Aston Martin car in miniature – an exact replica of the one Daniel drove – and some Tom Ford designer babygros for her son. Tom designed the entire wardrobe for Daniel in the new film. ”There were also exclusive framed photographs, a set of Martini glasses and an Omega watch.
”Daniel has the utmost respect for Adele and her work. ”He loved it that she came in very early to the set before filming had begun. ”She was the ultimate professional and he’s thrilled she’s a new mum. ”He sent her a handwritten letter with the gifts.” Daniel, 44, has previously revealed he loved the song so much he cried while listening to it.
He said: ”When Adele’s name came up I jumped at it. I just said: ‘We have to get her.’ ”She has the voice and the tone that we wanted. ”I cried. From the opening bars I knew immediately, then the voice kicked in and it was exactly what I’d wanted. ”It just got better and better because it fitted the movie. In fact the more of the movie we made, the more it fitted.” – Contactmusic
