Daryl Hannah made a bold statement at the Oscars, showing her support for Ukraine just days after President Donald Trump’s tense and highly criticized meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

While taking the stage to present the award for Best Editing, the Kill Bill and Blade Runner star went off script and loudly declared “Slava Ukraini!”—a Ukrainian national salute that translates to “Glory to Ukraine” and has become a rallying cry for the country’s armed forces.
