Lily-Rose elaborated on how fame can intersect with her craft as an actor. “The job of an actor is to go into a character and, like, melt into it — and make the audience believe you are this character,” she explained. “In order to do that, it’s important to protect a sense of anonymity.

They’re not supposed to get to know ‘you’ that well, ‘cause you want them to believe you as other characters.” Her journey in film began with her silver screen debut in the 2014 movie Tusk. However, her breakthrough performance came in HBO’s The Idol (2023), where she starred as a pop star opposite The Weeknd.
