Harrison Ford Refused Entry to London Pub
Harrison Ford was refused entry to The Punchbowl when security guards failed to recognize him but when people realized he was in the area the nightspot cleared as crowds followed him to a nearby haunt Ford decided to kick back at the The Punchbowl pub in Mayfair.
Formerly owned by director Guy Ritchie – on Saturday night while he’s in England’s capital filming scenes for ‘Star Wars: Episode VII’ and looked “annoyed” when he was turned away from the venue. A source told The Daily Star newspaper: “Harrison Ford came to the pub about 10.30pm on Saturday for a drink with his friend. He looked quite chilled. The bouncer told him outright that there were too many people in there and he wasn’t getting in. “Harrison looked really quite annÂoyed, but he didn’t kick up a fuss and went on to the next pub with his friend.
“It wasn’t until he’d left that the bouncers knew who he was.” However, the pub cleared rapidly when fans realized Harrison Ford – who is best known for playing Han Solo in the original ‘Star Wars’ trilogy – was in the area and they followed him to the nearby bar he was at. The source added: “Eight pensioners left the pub to follow Harrison down the road. “They said they wanted to drink with him and if he couldn’t get in, they didn’t want to stay. “The whole thing was so embarrassing for the pub.”
