Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner Reunite to Support Son Samuel

Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner put on a united front as they celebrated their son Samuel’s 13th birthday with a fun-filled paintball party. The former couple, who have maintained a strong co-parenting relationship since their divorce, were seen laughing and enjoying themselves at the event, as captured in photos shared by Page Six.

Despite their separation, Affleck and Garner continue to prioritize their children and maintain a friendly dynamic. “They’re on great terms,” a source told People magazine. “Jen’s very happy with Ben. He spends a lot of time with the kids.”

Another insider added, “They get along great. She makes him laugh like no one else can. She seems happy that Ben’s happy.” Dressed in camouflage gear, Affleck and Garner actively participated in the paintball game alongside Samuel and his friends at an outdoor course. The pair, both 52, split in 2015 after a decade of marriage and finalized their divorce three years later.

However, they have remained committed to co-parenting their three children—Violet, 19, Seraphina, 16, and Samuel, 13—by frequently coming together for major milestones. Following their divorce, Garner has been in an on-and-off relationship with CEO John Miller since 2018.

Meanwhile, Affleck was married to Jennifer Lopez for two years before Lopez filed for divorce in August 2024. Their divorce was officially settled in January. According to an insider who spoke to People on February 21, Affleck is currently “casually dating” but emphasized that “this doesn’t seem to be a focus though.”

The source added that Affleck is dedicating much of his time to work, spending “long days at his office.” In addition to his professional commitments, Affleck is also deeply involved in his children’s lives, particularly with Samuel.

“He spends a lot of time” with his kids, the insider shared, noting that he and Samuel share an especially close bond. Meanwhile, Garner remains happily involved with Miller. “She spends a lot of time with him,” another source revealed. “She sees him almost every day.”

The source also disclosed that Miller spent the night at Garner’s house on Thanksgiving 2024, after she and Affleck had spent the day volunteering with their children. “Jen truly just wants her kids to be happy,” the insider noted.

“She will continue to make sure that they spend time together as a family and include Ben.” Their amicable relationship sets an example of successful co-parenting, proving that even after separation, family remains a priority.
