Hollywood power couple Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez, famously known as “Bennifer,” are reportedly facing challenges selling their luxurious Bel-Air mansion, which has been on the market for nearly 100 days. The high-profile stars, who recently made headlines with their unexpected decision to part ways, are struggling to find a buyer for their $68 million estate.

The sprawling property, located in the exclusive Bel-Air neighborhood of Los Angeles, has been up for sale for months without any serious offers. Despite the high demand for luxury real estate in the area, the couple’s mansion remains unsold, leaving fans and real estate experts alike puzzled.

According to a broker who spoke to Realtor.com, it’s not entirely uncommon for high-end properties to take longer to sell. “It would have been surprising for the house to sell in less than 100 days,” the broker said, explaining that homes of this magnitude typically stay on the market for six months or even longer.

Several theories have emerged regarding the reason for the slow sale, but one key factor could be the hefty price tag. The $68 million listing price may be deterring potential buyers, as real estate experts predict the home may need to sell for a lower amount to attract interest.

Jason Oppenheim, a renowned real estate agent, shared his thoughts on the situation, suggesting that Affleck and Lopez may have to lower their expectations if they want to close a deal. “It’s likely they will sell the house in the $58 million to $60 million range. Thus, they could lose several million dollars on the sale,” Oppenheim explained to DailyMail.

The difficulties in selling their home come as the couple, who rekindled their romance in 2021, announced their decision to part ways once again. Despite their efforts to make things work, Affleck and Lopez have reportedly decided to go their separate paths, marking the end of their revived love story.

As the mansion remains on the market, Affleck and Lopez are left navigating both a high-profile breakup and the challenges of selling a multi-million dollar estate. With time, experts believe the property will eventually find a buyer, though possibly at a price lower than expected.
