Patrick Mahomes recently shared an update on his pregnant wife, Brittany, revealing that she is very close to her due date. During a conversation with Netflix, the Kansas City Chiefs quarterback opened up about the challenges Brittany is facing as the NFL season continues, especially with the added stress of his busy schedule.
“Brittany says I’ve been stressing her out too much this season,” Mahomes admitted in a clip shared on X by Netflix. “So I got to try to not put so much stress on her through these football games,” he added, acknowledging the impact his demanding football career is having on his expectant wife.
As the couple prepares for their new arrival, Mahomes and Brittany are hoping for a bit of luck with timing. “We’re hoping the due date falls on a bye week,” Mahomes explained, referring to the time when the Chiefs don’t have a game scheduled, told Good Morning America.
“And then everything will work out perfectly,” he said, clearly hoping for a smooth delivery with minimal overlap between football and family life. This will be the couple’s third child together, as they are already parents to daughter Sterling and son Bronze.
Brittany, a co-owner of the Kansas City Current, has been actively sharing moments from her holiday celebrations with the children, including pictures of their Christmas festivities on her Instagram Stories.
