Ben Affleck recently shared some heartfelt and humorous insights about his wife, Jennifer Lopez, during an appearance on Drew Barrymore’s talk show. The Oscar-winning actor’s revelations about their relationship included a surprising confession about Lopez’s eating habits that left many viewers intrigued.
“Let me tell you something that’s going to upset you. Jennifer just eats whatever she wants… Pizza, cookies, ice cream — everything,” Affleck confessed, much to the audience’s surprise. This statement came during the Friday, June 14 episode, where Affleck also discussed some lesser-known aspects of their life together.
Affleck went on to praise Lopez’s extraordinary attributes, calling her a “superhuman.” He elaborated, “She works out. I mean, I work out too. But I don’t magically appear to be 20 years old. … The work ethic is real, the discipline is very real, but also the superhuman thing is real.” According to HuffPost, Affleck described Lopez as “the most gorgeous woman in the world,” prompting Barrymore to respond with, “I’m swooning,” and “living vicariously through romance and men appreciating women.”
During the interview, Barrymore asked Affleck about his pet peeves. Affleck replied, “People who want to get paid for doing nothing,” highlighting a trait that frustrates him.
When Barrymore asked Affleck about a moment in his life he would like to relive, he responded emotionally, “I guess, I would center the question around….so many things. Be it the birth of my children or all the things I have done with my kids. It’s the joy of my life. It’s the heart of life that you feel. These beautiful children are so innocent and loving, who hold you and sit on your lap and eventually turn into the ‘close the door’ ones. So you know, I could just go on, it’s the gift of life! All those moments…” Barrymore, moved by his words, related as a parent and shared her appreciation.
Affleck and Lopez rekindled their romance amid the COVID-19 pandemic, leading to their marriage. Recently, the couple faced scrutiny due to rumors of separation, with several tabloids suggesting they were living apart. The speculation caused widespread concern among fans until the couple appeared together with their children, dispelling the rumors without directly addressing them.
In the midst of these rumors, Lopez celebrated the success of her Netflix movie, Atlas.
