Alex Jones Claims Kamala Harris Will Be ‘On Drugs’ at Debate Against Trump
Right-wing conspiracy theorist and Trump ally Alex Jones has made explosive claims about Vice President Kamala Harris, predicting she will “fall flat on her face” during the upcoming presidential debate against Donald Trump. Jones also insisted, without evidence, that Harris would be under the influence of drugs, specifically ecstasy, during the debate.
Jones, who is known for his outlandish and unfounded conspiracy theories, speculated on his show that Harris’s supposed “performance anxiety” would lead her to take drugs to cope. “It’s going to be spectacular in that she’s going to fall flat on her face without a teleprompter,” Jones claimed. “It’s because she has serious performance anxiety.”
The conspiracy theorist continued to push his narrative, saying, “She’s going to be on drugs. She’s going to be bombed out of her gourd.” According to Jones, Harris would be taking ecstasy, also known as “molly,” to manage her anxiety. “She looked like that at the DNC. Big pupils, feeling good. Yeah, they’re going to give her a molly,” he said. “I’m dead serious.”
This is not the first time Jones has made such accusations. He also claimed Harris was “drunk and on Xanax” during a CNN interview, again offering no proof to support his allegations.
Jones, who has a long history of making sensational and baseless statements, previously suggested that Democrats were plotting to imprison conservatives in camps, another unsubstantiated theory. His latest remarks about Harris have sparked outrage and concern over the spread of conspiracy theories targeting public figures, particularly women in leadership.
As the debate approaches, the claims made by Jones add another layer of controversy and misinformation to an already heated political climate. Despite these inflammatory accusations, there is no evidence to suggest that Harris has taken or will take any drugs to prepare for her debate against Trump.
