This Morning’s Holly Willoughby clashes with porn star who’s slept with 4,000 women
This Morning’s Holly Willoughby got into a row with adult actor Miles Long, who claims to have bedded more than 4,000 women, in a debate about porn.
This Morning host Holly Willoughby got into a fiery clash on Thursday’s show as she interviewed a porn actor-turned director in a debate about porn.
Miles Long, who claims to have slept with more than 4,000 women, claimed porn was just fantasy and did not create unrealistic expectations when it comes to sexual relationships in real life.
But Holly, 40, and Phil, 59, argued the opposite and said what happens in porn should not be seen as the norm, and could be reinforcing negative attitudes to sex.
Phil asked: “Isn’t there a big worry that when lockdown is over and you can actually go out and meet someone yourself, you’ve got some sort of false idea of what sex is, because you’ve been watching porn?”
Miles replied: “But I don’t really know that just watching something makes you want to do that more.
“People watch car races, it doesn’t mean they hop in their car and try to race other people all the time, or they watch a documentary on people flying planes, they don’t try to hop in a plane and fly it, right?
“Because really it’s a fantasy, right? I don’t think one necessarily connects with the other.”
Holly interjected: “Except they don’t have a plane at their disposal, necessarily, whereas having a sexual relationship with somebody is a normal part of human life.
“Actually they are more likely to attempt those things or to think that is the norm, I think there is a difference actually.”
Miles shot back: “I guess it depends on what you think is normal and what you think is more fantasy, because it’s healthy to have fantasies, and it doesn’t necessarily mean you’ll act them out.
“Maybe you just want to watch them or live vicariously through somebody else, which we see all the time.”
Holly also revealed on the show the fact that reportedly more people watched porn than the news during the coronavirus pandemic.
“There was a lot of news, which means there must have been an awful lot of… watching,” she joked.
“Just a thought!”
