World’s Most Expensive Champagne
Originally produced with an idea to create the symbolic champagne which adopts the shared genesis of the family De Watère and brings its history back to vivid memory, here’s the ultra-premium Champagne De Watère which is not just outstanding for its most luxurious dosage of Cuvée De Watère, but also for the glamorous combination of a numbered gold coin embossed with the De Watère emblem and 1ct diamond, which is hemmed in transparent pouch and attached to the bottle of the bottle. Described to be a real find for the most demanding champagne lovers and stylish connoisseurs, this most expensive champagne De Watère which was earlier exclusively available to family members to celebrate their reunion while keeping the coin as an eternal reminder of that special occasion, is now being offered to the general public. Notably, the $45,290 bottle of Champagne De Watère comes in a special case that is handmade in Bavaria, Germany from solid wood, and is hand finished, inside and out, in satin gold, and the case is then wrapped in gold foil which is further secured by a gold hand-woven braid sealed with the De Watère seal.
The Cuvée De Watère is notably produced according to the traditional Méthode Champenoise which guarantees maximum enjoyment and long-lasting bubbles. Starting from harvesting of the grapes Pinot Noir and Chardonnay in the family owned vineyard, everything is done by hand or using the traditional machinery, resulting in Cuvée De Watère that surpasses the criteria set for ecological wine growing.
On 5 hectares, only 22,500 bottles of De Watère are being produced every year; 11,250 of each the Rosé and the Blanc. Solely 20,000 of them (evenly divided between Rosé and Blanc) are available to the market. The remaining 2,500 bottles are being held by and for the family De Watère.
De Watère Cuvée Brut Blanc
Optically, the Brut Blanc presents itself bearing a gold, light luminescent color, and is composed if 80% Pinot Noir and 20% Chardonnay. So, the connoisseur is served the perfect combination of freshness and maturity.
