Meghan Markle Reportedly ‘Fuming’ Over Kate Middleton’s Vogue Cover

Meghan Markle is reportedly unhappy after learning that Kate Middleton will be featured on the cover of Vogue in both the United States and the United Kingdom editions. The Princess of Wales was offered the prestigious cover following a challenging year in which she battled cancer.

The move has been widely seen as a celebration of her resilience and grace, but according to insiders, the news has not gone over well with the Duchess of Sussex. A source told Radar Online that Meghan believes Kate is stepping into her territory, given that she previously edited a special issue of Vogue in 2016.

“Meghan feels like she has the royal monopoly on all things health, beauty, and fashion,” the insider claimed. The source further explained that Meghan sees herself as the royal figure most closely associated with the lifestyle industry.

“She has the lifestyle brand, the home in Montecito, the Netflix show in the pipeline, and a direct line to all the beautiful people in the U.S.,” the source added. According to the report, Meghan thinks Kate’s Vogue feature is an attempt to overshadow her own brand.

“So she’s kinda fuming that Kate seems to be stepping out of her lane and into Meghan’s territory,” the insider continued. “She feels with Kate’s love of the outdoors, she should be on the cover of some kind of countryside magazine dedicated to horses and hiking, not Vogue.”

Kate Middleton, who announced in January that she is in remission from cancer, has remained focused on her royal duties and charitable initiatives. Meanwhile, Meghan and Prince Harry are currently in Canada for the Invictus Games, an event the Duke of Sussex founded to support wounded veterans.

Despite any behind-the-scenes tension, Kate’s Vogue cover is expected to be a major success, with royal watchers praising her strength and elegance. Whether Meghan will respond publicly to the reports remains to be seen, but for now, the royal fashion spotlight appears to be on the Princess of Wales.
