Taylor Swift’s Subtle Dig at Kanye West After His Attempt to Crash Grammys Photo

If Kanye West wanted a new photo with Taylor Swift, he would have to create it using Photoshop—because she would never agree to pose with him, a source has revealed. The two music superstars nearly crossed paths at the 2025 Grammy Awards on Sunday, where Kanye was reportedly “desperate” to snap a picture with Swift.
According to The Sun, the rapper had hoped for a moment with the Cruel Summer singer at the high-profile event. However, an insider told DailyMail that Swift’s inner circle made sure “that would never happen.”
“Kanye will try to get a photo with Taylor anytime that he can, and this would be no different,” the source revealed. “Taylor does not give this any space in her head, and her friends and those around her would not let this happen. If Kanye wants to get a photo with Taylor, it will have to be in Photoshop.”
Earlier this month, Kanye made headlines for following Swift on Instagram while unfollowing everyone else—making her the only person he was following. The move left Swift’s friends baffled.
“Her friends also do not know why Kanye keeps trying to include her in the narrative of his life, but they wish he wouldn’t,” the source added. “No one also knows why he followed her and only her on his social media recently, but they think it is time for him to give it up.”
Kanye also caused a stir at the Grammys by arriving uninvited with his wife, Bianca Censori, who wore a revealing sheer mini dress with no undergarments. Reports later emerged claiming the couple was asked to leave and escorted out by police. However, conflicting accounts suggested they left of their own accord.
Swift and West’s long-running feud dates back more than 15 years to the infamous 2009 MTV Video Music Awards when Kanye stormed the stage and interrupted Swift’s acceptance speech for Best Female Video.
“Yo, Taylor, I’m really happy for you, I’mma let you finish. But Beyoncé had one of the best videos of all time. One of the best videos of all time,” West declared, igniting one of the most notorious pop culture moments of the decade.
Though they briefly appeared to reconcile, their conflict escalated again after Kanye released his 2016 song Famous, which included the controversial lyric: “I feel like I and Taylor might still have sex. Why? I made that b**h famous.”
At the time, Swift denounced the line, while West insisted she had approved it. His then-wife, Kim Kardashian, further fueled the drama by leaking a selectively edited phone call between the two artists. Years later, the full recording surfaced, proving Swift had never approved the “b**ch” lyric, vindicating her.
Now, more than a decade later, Kanye continues to reference Swift in his music. In his August 2024 album Vultures 2, he name-dropped both Swift and her boyfriend, NFL star Travis Kelce, in the track Lifestyle (Demo), rapping: “I twist my Taylor spliffs tight at the end like Travis Kelce.”
Despite Kanye’s continued attempts to keep their connection alive, it appears Swift and her team are making it clear—there is no room for him in her story.
