The 2025 Grammy Awards kicked off with a memorable red carpet moment, courtesy of TV personality Keltie Knight. The Canadian presenter experienced an unfortunate yet relatable mishap—tripping on the red carpet in front of flashing cameras.

Sharing the incident on Instagram, Knight humorously lamented, “WHY DOES SOMETHING HAPPEN ON EVERY RED CARPET. JUST LET ME LIVE,” alongside a video of her fall.

The clip shows the E! News co-host confidently navigating the red carpet in a stunning floor-length Atelier Zuhra gown. As she delicately lifted the train of her dress while rounding a corner, she suddenly lost her footing, sending her tumbling to the floor.

Knight’s lighthearted reaction suggests she’s no stranger to red-carpet blunders. Fans will recall a similar incident from last year’s Golden Globes when she faced an unexpected jewelry crisis. Speaking directly to cameras, she declared a “Golden Globe emergency” after realizing a four-carat diamond had fallen off her wedding ring somewhere on the carpet.

“I got to the end of the carpet, felt it with my finger, looked down, and it was my worst nightmare,” Knight later shared with TODAY.

Thankfully, her 2025 Grammys mishap occurred outside the main photography zone, meaning it may not have been as widely captured as other infamous celebrity falls. Iconic red carpet stumbles—such as Amy Schumer’s deliberate fall in front of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West in 2015, or Jennifer Lawrence’s Oscars trip—have cemented their places in pop culture history. Knight’s fall, while embarrassing, may not reach the same viral heights.

With the night still young, many A-listers are set to make their grand entrances at Los Angeles’ Crypto.com Arena. Big nominees such as Sabrina Carpenter and Charli XCX have already made successful strides down the carpet, with both winning early awards.

However, music giants like Beyoncé, Taylor Swift, and Kendrick Lamar are yet to arrive, and with more intricate gowns and high-fashion risks still to come, there’s always a chance for another red carpet moment to steal the spotlight.
