Meghan Markle is reportedly strategizing a response to the recent accusations published by Vanity Fair, which include claims of bullying behavior and criticism of her and Prince Harry’s life in the U.S. The Vanity Fair article cites an unnamed former staffer who accused the Duchess of Sussex of being “cold and withholding” toward employees and alleged that Meghan took the concept for her Archetypes podcast from another team member.

Additionally, the staffer claimed that Prince Harry has struggled to make friends since stepping back from royal duties and relocating to the United States in 2020. According to a report by Heat Magazine, Meghan is deeply upset by the accusations. An insider revealed that she is particularly offended by the portrayal of Harry as a “lost, henpecked wimp with no friends in America,” a narrative the source called “hideously offensive” to the Duchess.

“Right now, they’re sitting down with their team to figure out a strategy and how to fight back,” the insider told Heat Magazine. “Meghan is understandably infuriated by the unnamed staffer who’s accusing her of bullying, yet again, and that’s probably the most touchy area of all.”

The couple is also reportedly angered by allegations that Meghan is looking to “cash in” with a tell-all book, something the pair has consistently denied. “This narrative that Harry is a lost, henpecked wimp with no friends in America is also hideously offensive,” the source added, emphasizing that these claims undermine the couple’s efforts to build a new life outside of the royal institution.

The accusations come amid ongoing scrutiny of Meghan and Harry’s post-royal life, including their multimillion-dollar media deals and public advocacy work. Meghan’s Archetypes podcast, which explores societal stereotypes placed on women, has been a significant part of her professional endeavors since stepping back from royal duties.

This is not the first time Meghan has faced allegations of bullying. In the past, similar claims emerged from royal aides during her time as a working royal in the U.K., though Meghan has consistently denied these allegations.

The insider’s comments suggest the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are determined to address the accusations head-on, highlighting their frustration with the continued negative narratives surrounding their personal and professional lives.

As the couple navigates these new allegations, their response is likely to attract significant public attention, as has been the case with much of their journey since leaving the royal family. Whether Meghan and Harry choose a legal route, a public statement, or another strategy remains to be seen, but their team is reportedly working to ensure their side of the story is heard.
