President-elect Donald Trump revealed on Wednesday evening via his Truth Social platform that his incoming administration has already hired 1,000 people, emphasizing their alignment with his vision for the nation while openly barring certain figures he deemed disloyal.

“As of today, the incoming Trump Administration has hired over 1,000 people for The United States Government,” Trump declared. “They are outstanding in every way, and you will see the fruits of their labor over the coming years. We will MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN, and it will happen very quickly!”

Trump also used the announcement to draw sharp lines, explicitly stating that individuals connected to several high-profile figures and groups would not be considered for positions in his administration.

“In order to save time, money, and effort, it would be helpful if you would not send, or recommend to us, people who worked with, or are endorsed by, Americans for No Prosperity (headed by Charles Koch), ‘Dumb as a Rock’ John Bolton, ‘Birdbrain’ Nikki Haley, Mike Pence, disloyal Warmongers Dick Cheney, and his Psycho daughter, Liz, Mitt Romney, Paul Ryan, General(?) Mark Milley, James Mattis, Mark Yesper, or any of the other people suffering from Trump Derangement Syndrome, more commonly known as TDS,” Trump wrote.

He concluded the statement with his trademark flourish: “Thank you for your attention to this matter!” Trump’s remarks highlight his ongoing clashes with several prominent Republican figures, many of whom served in his previous administration or held influential positions within the party.

His feud with General Mark Milley, whom Trump has suggested should face execution for alleged disloyalty, and with Liz Cheney, whom he has said should be placed in harm’s way in a war zone, underscores the depth of his animosity toward those he perceives as betraying him.

The announcement signals Trump’s intent to fill his administration with staunch loyalists while continuing to marginalize figures associated with traditional GOP power structures. This approach reinforces Trump’s strategy of consolidating his base and distancing himself from party elites who have been critical of him.

As Trump prepares to take office, the staffing decisions and exclusions reflect his broader political philosophy: loyalty to Trump is paramount. The next four years are poised to showcase how this loyalty-driven administration will seek to achieve its vision of “making America great again.”
