Jax Taylor Caught in Controversial ‘Fender Bender’ Scandal
Reality star Jax Taylor is under scrutiny after being involved in a “minor fender bender” and allegedly leaving the scene without exchanging insurance information. The incident occurred on Wednesday in Valley Village, a neighborhood in Los Angeles, and involved Taylor’s black truck and a white Subaru sedan.
According to TMZ, the collision happened at a red light when Taylor’s truck reportedly bumped into the Subaru. A woman named Michelle West claimed on Nextdoor that her boyfriend was driving the Subaru and had to follow Taylor to a nearby gas station to address the situation.
A video obtained by TMZ shows Taylor and the other driver inspecting the damage at the gas station before Taylor, 45, returned to his truck and drove off. The Subaru driver alleged that Taylor refused to provide his insurance details, taking a photo of Taylor’s license plate as he left. Speaking to paparazzi, the Subaru driver claimed Taylor “wouldn’t give him any of his info.”
Taylor’s representative confirmed to Daily Mail that he was involved in what was described as a “minor” accident. “There was no visible damage to either vehicle and no apparent injuries,” the rep stated. The spokesperson elaborated, “Jax was involved in what he believed to be a minor fender bender yesterday afternoon when his vehicle bumped into the rear end of the car in front of him while at a red light. The driver immediately stepped out of his vehicle, enraged, which caused an unpleasant interaction between both parties.”
The rep added that Taylor has since filed a claim with his insurance company to investigate the incident. “Jax will follow the recommendations provided by his insurance company,” the spokesperson said.
However, according to TMZ, the Subaru driver has reported the incident to the police, escalating the situation. Taylor, known for his appearances on Vanderpump Rules, has not publicly addressed the incident, but the matter has sparked debate about how such situations should be handled. Whether the incident leads to further legal action remains to be seen.
